You Probably Have a Stress Problem, If You Answer ‘Yes’ to These Questions!

People tend to plan their day but then – suddenly it’s already 11:00 pm!

Then, they go to bed, sleep and when they wake up they still do the same thing over and over again.

It is very easy to give up and lose motivation for reaching your dreams and goals when it feels like your partner, boss, friends, kids & pets all come before you.

Although, we all have a different daily agenda, our lives are not so different, really. We all have feelings, emotions, thoughts – and tons of sh*t going on.

Moreover, even just THINKING about something that frustrates you can actually create stress for your body.

What I’m trying to get at here, and what you need to know and remember is: your brain, at a cellular level, can’t really tell the difference between the stress of a pressing deadline at work, and the stress of running for dear life from a carnivorous wild animal.

It’s a common scenario in this modern world for our stress mode to never “turn-off”. So for many, the body thinks it’s in danger, all the time, 24/7. This opens the door to greet some unfavourable stress-related symptoms.

Take a moment here are think about how many times your stress mode is activated in a typical day.

For most, it can be activated immediately upon rising.

Let’s say you wake up late and are rushing to get ready in time – TRIGGERED.
Get in a nice good-morning argument with your spouse, sibling, parent or kid? – TRIGGERED.
Stuck in traffic during your morning commute? – TRIGGERED.
Opening your email inbox to painfully-specific, undermining or demanding emails from your boss/coworker? – TRIGGERED.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say stress is probably the reason why:

  • You can’t get a good night’s sleep
  • Life feels overwhelming
  • You can’t reach your goal weight
  • Increase in anxiety & depression
  • You feel like you can’t cope anymore
  • Have lost all motivation and drive
  • Your heart always feels like it’s racing, and the sweat – o.m.g.
  • Digestion is off and eating almost anything is making you bloated
  • You have a non-existent libido
  • Hyper and hypo thyroid related issues are developed

Feeling stressed for too long may have a negative impact on your health. Experiencing non-stop stress, long-term weakens ALL of the systems in your body– beginning with the adrenal glands, and often the thyroid comes next.
